Dr. Michael Aguirre
Dr. Michael Joseph Aguirre has worked hard to become the orthodontist he is today!
He attended Universidad Central of Ecuador Dental School where he graduated with a Doctor in Dental Surgery Degree. He later earned his Certificate in Orthodontic Specialty from University of Florida Dental School, Orthodontic Residency. Dr. Aguirre is also a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics.
Dr. Michael has been self-employed as an Orthodontic Specialist since graduation from UF. He has volunteered pro-bono in the field of general dentistry and laboratory procedures, caring for the needy in Gainesville and the surrounding areas.
Some of the dental clinics are ACORN, Gainesville Community Ministry, Care to Share, We Care, Good Samaritan Clinic, and the Baptist Church traveling clinic on a bus!

He grew up in South America and is fluent in Spanish which is awesome as it helps make all of our patients feel comfortable and heard.
In his spare time, he takes pride in being the 3-time Ecuadorian Junior Golf Champion! He also enjoys spending time with family, golfing, playing tennis and pickleball, jewelry-making, and preparing healthy food recipes, especially homemade smoothies!
